Northern Kentucky University has named an interim athletic director as it continues its search for a replacement for Scott Eaton, who was fired last month. Former Wright State University athletic director Michael Cusack will serve as the interim AD, starting April 15.
Cusack retired in 2008, but since then has been teaching in the WSU Student Affairs in Higher Education Program and building the university's Sports Management Graduate Certificate Program.
NKU let Eaton go, saying he had failed to comply with the university's ethical principles and code of conduct.
Dress in red, but you'll have to do it in layers, with snow showers and temperatures in the 40's predicted. The cold weather doesn't seem to bother fans, who still line the parade route regardless of the forecast for the 94th annual Findlay Market Opening Day Parade.
Mention Pete Rose and you get mixed reactions. To some, he's the guy who got kicked out of baseball for life for gambling. To others, he's a hometown hero who got a raw deal and should be in the National Baseball Hall of Fame for his achievements on the field.
