Twelve mobile food vendors lined the street along Washington Park Friday as Cincinnati dedicated its newest mobile food vending zone.

Council Member Laure Quinlivan created the program in 2010.  Last year, it was expanded to Fountain Square and the Purple People Bridge.  This year, it's being expanded to Washington Park and Over-the-Rhine.

The OTR vending spot is on 12th Street, near Clay, and is open to food trucks from 6 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.  The Washington park zone is open from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

If you wonder why there's a large crowd at Horseshoe Cincinnati tonight, it's because the casino is holding its first outdoor concert. The Killers will play to a sold-out crowd at The Shoe, the one-acre concert space at the entrance of the casino.  The gates open at 6:30 and the opening act takes the stage at 7:30.  The Killers open a 19-week concert series at The Shoe that includes Willie Nelson, Earth, Wind and Fire, Billy Idol and many others. 
 

Local bicyclists now have an easier way to report harassment and collisions.  Cincinnati has added a "Bicyclist Incident" form on its customer service website, 5916000.com.  It's also on the city's mobile app, Cincinnati City Hall Mobile, which is GPS-enabled so cyclists can accurately report their location.  (The app is available through Apple's App Store and Google Play.)
