Obama back on the campaign trail in Ohio Friday

President Obama, who suspended personal campaigning this week while he dealt with the aftermath of the storm that devastated large parts of the east coast, will return to the campaign trail Friday in the key battleground state of Ohio, where the polls show him in a dead heat with Mitt Romney.

There is no official word yet from the Obama-Biden campaign on re-scheduling the president's rally that was scheduled for this morning at Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati. That was canceled by the White House Tuesday, but could well be re-scheduled.

On Friday, Obama has campaign rallies in Springfield, Lima and the Columbus suburb of Hilliard.

Thursday, former president Bill Clinton will campaign for Obama in Toledo, Akron and Chillicothe.

GOP nominee Romney and his running mate, Paul Ryan, have a rally scheduled in West Chester for early Friday evening

Ann Romney, the wife of the GOP presidential nominee, is scheduled to hold an event at Vinylmax Co. in Hamilton at noon today with Jane Portman, wife of U.S. Sen. Rob Portman; and Cindy McCain, the wife of 2008 GOP presidential nominee John McCain. She also has stops scheduled today in Wilmington and Columbus.
