To commemorate this anniversary, they have released a new book, Totally MAD: 60 Years of Humor, Satire, Stupidity and Stupidity that includes a removable set of 12 classic Mad cover prints. Frank Johnson talks parody and longevity with Mad’s editor, John Ficarra.

On Stage: Alice in Wonderland

Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati continues its holiday tradition of presenting creative and locally written versions of some of the greatest children’s tales. This year, the classic Alice in Wonderland returns with all of the one-of-a-kind Lewis Carroll beloved characters. Our Rick Pender welcomes in two of the actors, Michael Bath and Sara Mackie, with a preview of this year’s production.

Classic Cincinnati Architecture

Artists and authors David and Barbara Day join Brian O’Donnell to talk about their new book of drawings and stories about our ever-changing city. Vanishing Cincinnati seeks to preserve some of the classic architecture and geography of this area as was seen from the 1800’s on in a unique and artistic way. The book’s launch will take place on Sunday, December 2 at the Main Branch of the Public Library downtown.
