Greater Cincinnati enjoys a rich cultural, social and political life and Cincinnati Edition will showcase the wide variety of talented individuals and committed organizations that make Cincinnati special.

Cincinnati Edition Saturday and Sunday will cease production on June 30th. Tune in Monday, July 1st at 2:00 pm for the new expanded program covering news from regional government to business, education, health and the arts. Mark Perzel continues as your host on Mondays. Maryanne Zeleznik will be your host on Tuesdays. Mark Heyne hosts on Wednesdays; and Jay Hanselman and Howard Wilkinson will co-host on Thursdays.

Young Professionals' Choral Collective

Cincinnati has always been fertile ground for amazing choral music, starting with the May Festival, Vocal Arts Ensemble and, now, a unique chorus that offers young professionals in our area not only a chance to sing, but to be involved in our community and meet new people. KellyAnn Nelson, the founder and director of the Young Professionals’ Choral Collective (yp/CC) is in the studio with Mark Perzel to talk about how the group started, what its mission is, and their upcoming Black & Blues Gala on February 16.

The February issue of Cincinnati Magazine has a fascinating look at the growing number of people in the area who are creating, designing, building, and crafting goods and using internet sites like Etsy to sell them. Not only is the number higher than you’d think, but the variety in goods being sold is impressive: wooden furniture to handmade bicycles to specially created blue jeans. Amy Brownlee, the associate managing editor for the magazine, joins Mark Perzel to talk about the genesis for this article and what surprises they discovered when they set out to compile the list.
