American Graduate: Let’s Make it Happen, is a cooperative project of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and CET, and WVXU has partnered with them to help bring additional light to the high school drop-out problem. This month, Mark Perzel interviews Dr. Anthony Smith, assistant superintendent of Cincinnati Public Schools, who discusses the challenges of assessing the actual drop-out rates and some of the innovative approaches CPS is taking to better serve the needs of the students in order to keep them successfully enrolled through graduation.

The dynamic, passing offenses we’ve become accustomed to in the current NFL all originated with Gillman, though he never wanted to take the time to write them down. Martha Holmberg, a La Varenne-trained, award winning food writer has just released Modern Sauces: More than 150 Recipes for Every Cook, Every Day.
