Lemur Center at Duke University

For more than 40 years, the Duke Lemur Center at Duke University has been studying the lemur to learn more about this fascinating animal, as well as opening their doors to visitors so they can learn more about lemurs. Movie Review: From Up on Poppy Hill

I have a confession to make. I have never seen a film by Japan’s master animator Hiyao Miyazaki, one of Japan's greatest animation directors, and founder of the legendary Studio Ghibli. His films have earned him international renown from critics as well as public recognition within Japan. Among the titles you may have heard are Kiki's Delivery Service, My Neighbor Totoro and Princess Mononoke. Miyazaki is often referred to as the “Japanese Walt Disney.”

Elementz Hip-Hop Youth Center

It’s hard to believe, but Elementz, Cincinnati’s hip hop youth services organization, is celebrating its 8th anniversary this year. They moved into a new, larger space last year and continue to expand programs designed to keep our city’s young people safe, off the streets, and moving towards an educated, positive life. Brother Abdullah Powell, the creative director of Elementz, is in the studio with Mark Perzel to talk about the past eight years and what he sees for the organization in the coming years.
