Gateway Community College and Northern Kentucky University are partnering to make it easier for Gateway students to pursue four-year degrees at NKU.
Students can choose from 25 career paths and take up to four NKU classes at Gateway prices. All of their credits will transfer as well.
NKU President Geoffrey Mearns says the partnership will offer better service to all students, more efficient and effective use of resources and enhance opportunities for students to pursue their goals.
Construction is officially underway on the Gateway Community and Technical College Urban/Metro Campus in downtown Covington. College officials and community leaders made a symbolic swing of the sledge hammer Thursday to mark the start of a complete renovation of the former Marx Gallery at 520 Madison Avenue into the Gateway Technology and Design Center. Classes are expected to start in the refurbished 50,000-square-foot facility in August next year.
