Looks like Ohio Dems will do without Cordray in 2014

Ohio Democrats who were hoping that Richard Cordray, the former state treasurer and attorney general, might rush in on a white horse, with a hardy “Heigh Ho Silver”  and save the day in the 2014 Ohio governor’s race, may as well move along.


There’s nothing to see here.

Gov. Kasich: Future bright for Ohio

Governor Kasich spoke to local Chamber of Commerce members at Cincinnati Milacron in Batavia Thursday.

East-Side Chambers of Commerce are praising Ohio's efforts in making the state a more business friendly place.

Matt Van Sant, President of the Clermont County Chamber, says he's in the economic development business, creating jobs and stimulating the private sector to invest. He was happy to hear Governor Kasich's message that lower taxes seem to be turning what used to be a bad business climate around.

Jobs are slowly coming back to Wilmington

Business is slowly coming back to Wilmington and the air park.

Ohio Governor John Kasich is traveling to Wilmington Thursday to announce a handful of companies are making commitments to create hundreds of jobs.

The positive economic news in and around Wilmington has been slow to come ever since DHL closed it's domestic operations and put 8,000 people out of a job.
