The School of Rock: Taking it to the Stage

The School of Rock in Mason is founded on the principle that the best way to learn music is to play music.

The faculty of The School of Rock is associated with several notable Cincinnati bands such as The Rusty Griswolds, Wussy, Fairmount Girls and Afghan Whigs.  They take students of all ages from the lesson room to the stage by developing their confidence and musicianship with programs designed for all skill levels.

I met with Tim Garry, owner and General Manager and Chris Barlow, Bass Instructor and Show Director from The School of Rock.

Western & Southern Open Needs Volunteers

One of the truly great events the Cincinnati area hosts every year is the Western & Southern Open at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason. This year’s event will happen August 10 -18, and the real backbone of this successful tournament is the army of volunteers who help visitors, players and sponsors enjoy being at a world-class tennis tournament. Mary O’Connor, the volunteer coordinator for the Open, joins Robyn Carey-Allgeyer with all the information about how to volunteer, positions available, and the perks that come with the job.

Warren County company celebrates expansion

Intelligrated's new wing at its Mason headquarters

Intelligrated held the grand opening for its 122,000-square-foot headquarters expansion in Mason on Wednesday.  The automated material handling solutions provider now has a combined 262,000 square feet at its Innovation Way facility that will accommodate an ongoing increase in engineering, research and development staffing.
