Music great Peter Frampton is entering new territory – ballet! His music will be the focus of the next performances of the Cincinnati Ballet on April 26 and 27. In addition to some of his previously recorded music, he tells our Brian O’Donnell that he has written a brand new piece specifically for the ballet.
His presence on stage, screen and television is unmistakable – Sunday in the Park with George on Broadway, The Princess Bride on film, Homeland on television. Mandy Patinkin is multi-talented, but his singing is how he first achieved fame. He will be joining the Cincinnati Pops for three concerts April 19-21, performing songs from his stage career as well as some of his favorite popular standards. Mandy Patinkin is on the phone with our Rick Pender to talk about his career and these upcoming concerts.
Grammy winning musician Victor Wooten is bringing his band to The Madison Theatre in Covington on April 19 for a night of some of his newest music. He’s played bass for Bela Fleck, Stanley Clark and Dave Matthews, but this night will be his band, featuring Cincinnati’s own Krystal Peterson on vocals. Krystal is in the studio with Lee Hay to talk about her career and now touring with Victor Wooten.
