Linda Seiter, the executive director of Caracole, which provides housing and other support services for individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS, joins Mark Perzel to talk about their recent relocation to Northside, the services they provide, and the ongoing challenges faced by those with HIV/AIDS, despite the disease no longer being headline news.

The 2012 Northside House Tour, presented by the Northside Community Council, starts at noon Sunday and includes many homes and businesses that have remodeled and refurbished, showing the possibilities that exist in some of Cincinnati’s older neighborhoods. The Northside neighborhood is now home to WordPlay, a new children’s literacy non-profit, giving neighborhood kids a place to go to ready, write and find new ways to express themselves. Libby Hunter, co-founder and executive director, is in-studio with Mark Perzel to discuss how WordPlay came into being and the organization’s mission and goals.
