"Double Indemnity" on stage

"Double Indemnity"

Cincinnati’s Playhouse in the Park brings one of Hollywood’s classic Billy Wilder films to the stage. Double Indemnity is a story filled with intrigue, lust and murder and it begins its premiere fun in the Marx Theater on April 25. One of the challenges of this production is the complex set, so Rick Pender talks with the set designer, Paul Shortt, about successfully staging a play with so many set changes while maintaining the dramatic tension.

Rachel Leslie from "A Trip to Bountiful"

Actor Rachel Leslie grew up in Golf Manor and attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts. She’s back in town, performing in the Playhouse in the Park production of A Trip to Bountiful. Jim Stump had the chance to sit down with this psych major about growing up here, her stage career, and some recent world premieres in which she performed.
