C-Change is a dynamic program of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber that provides leadership development and community engagement opportunities for emerging young leaders in the area. This one-year experience recently named its 8th Class, so we’ve invited Julie Bernzott, manager of HYPE Programs at the chamber, in to the studio to talk with Mark Perzel about exactly what happens during the C-Change year, and recount some of the efforts of previous classes to leave a legacy to our community.
Cincinnati has always been fertile ground for amazing choral music, starting with the May Festival, Vocal Arts Ensemble and, now, a unique chorus that offers young professionals in our area not only a chance to sing, but to be involved in our community and meet new people. KellyAnn Nelson, the founder and director of the Young Professionals’ Choral Collective(yp/CC) is in the studio with Mark Perzel to talk about how the group started, what its mission is, and their upcoming Black & Blues Gala on February 16.
Cincinnati continues to grow its young professional population. Part of that comes from an annual event targeted to that group.
Bold Fusion, the region's largest gathering of young professionals, is a time to connect, discuss and learn. Efforts like this are being credited with attracting and retaining what the Cincinnati Chamber considers as a very important segment of the population. Natalie Nichols was at the Music Hall event. She moved here from Columbus because of the great web start up culture.
